Is Benchmarks only for IDOC members?
No. Benchmarks is available to both IDOC members and non-members. Members get special pricing and have access to additional IDOC resources.
Do I need to use IDOC for bookkeeping to get Benchmarks?
No. If you already have bookkeeping in place, we can still provide Benchmarks. What matters is having clean, reliable financial data.
What data do you use to create the benchmarks?
We use your QuickBooks Online financial data along with a few practice inputs (productivity and staffing metrics) to calculate optometry KPIs and trend analysis.
How often are benchmarks updated?
Typically monthly, so you can track KPIs over time and spot changes early.
What KPIs are included?
Common areas include overhead and expense category performance, profitability (including EBITDA), cash flow, and productivity metrics that help explain labor and capacity decisions.
Can you benchmark multi-location practices?
